We are now able to Attach Patients who are looking for a Family Practice Provider!

IMPORTANT: Once you have been attached at our clinic or another, please make sure to remove yourself from the Health Care Registry or Provincial Attachment System (one and the same). Call 811 to do so please.

If you would like to be attached to our new doctor, Dr. Joel Lando, we asked that you please assist our team in doing this as efficiently as possible. Our clinic and phone lines are extremely busy, so please ONLY do the following to expedite your attachment:

1.  If you need an actual appointment (phone or in clinic), call the clinic at 250-352-4666 and book that appointment with Dr Lando. During your visit, you can request, from Dr Lando to be attached.

IMPORTANT: Please have the following information on hand, when you call. If you do not have the information ready, you will instead, be asked to email us:

a. Full legal name, as it appears on your B.C. Heath Care Card or Driver’s Licence combo card

b. Personal Health Care Number (10 digit number on the back of Driver’s License or on your separate B.C. Health Care Card)

c. Date of Birth

d. Full Address with Postal Code

e. Email 

f.  Phone Number

g. Any specific, current health concerns 

You will also be required to complete a Qnaire with your contact and health details, prior to your visit, either online, if it’s a phone visit, or in person when you present.

2.  If you do not need an appointment for any current issues(s), please email us at office@kootenaylakemedical.com with all details, exactly as listed above.

IMPORTANT: In your Email Subject Heading, please type “ATTACHMENT“!

Also, Once you have emailed us, WE WILL BE IN TOUCH! Please do NOT phone or drop by clinic to see if we received your email! This will slow down attachment of patients on our list.
